I’m about to drill my cooler to fit my anova but will buy this one too. I use the zip lock bags. Seems like your unit is dead or more likely you need to set the temp and time, easiest way is power it on press the temp button, adj the knob till your display shows the value you want, then wait for about 5 seconds till your value take effect, the display will stop blinking. This will change the way you cook meat period! I cannot figure out how to take it apart to clean it. A better way is to use a a vacuum sealer.
While I have to agree with the 2-3/8" answer, I will also mention that they have the same footprint (in size and shape) as the Anova Precision Cookers. I can attest that this has the exact same hole size as the Anova, 2-5/8". Does it remember the last temperature set point in case of power loss? BTW, the immersion cooker works great!
