The brochure is misleading as it shows beautifully decorated rooms and this certainly is not the case.

Such an iconic hotel now in a state of disrepair. Its extravagant interior has a mixture of old and new. There was a section that was reserved for VIP guests (special guests of the DJ). There were also a variety of questionable “guests” who seemed to be living there.If you are staying and needing parking though, the Mount Pleasant car park opposite is 4GBP a day, which appears to be a better option than with the issues others have had with the hotel car park. It had to be a fire violation to allow the number of people who were in the room. Gypsies had a fight in the foyer and the staff closed the late-night bar.
