We do wish AMD would not make a distinction between a game and max boost clock though as it is just too confusing for the majority of consumers. I would recommend this for sure. There's a problem loading this menu right now. I've got this things running at over 1850mhz and it stays pretty cold. NAVI is based on what AMD refers to as RDNA architecture (Radeon DNA). Others, such as ambient temperature, case design, and airflow pathway affecting the GPU, can be mitigated to certain extents. I'm not a gamer, but got totally into setting up my computer with RGB. Rebooting again always solves the issue.
