This beach in particular is where I fell in love with surfing.

Pets are prohibited in the park and on public beaches unless trained as a service animal. The population was 2,897 at the 2010 census. Amenities include a concession stand with covered seating, gift shop, restrooms, and 25-meter lap swimming pool.

Lido Beach is a hamlet and census-designated place in Nassau County, New York, United States. Courtesy beach wheelchairs as available. Lido Beach and Lido West Beach will be open and monitored by town lifeguards on weekends up until September 27th from 10 AM to 6 PM Only Nassau County residents will be permitted entry and admission is free!

Very relaxing place with many options.
