The main character of Fantastic Mr. Fox is an extremely clever anthropomorphized fox named Mr. Fox. The three farmers are enraged by Mr. Fox’s theft decide to kill him at all costs.

Days passed, and the foxes begin to starve. Tired of being outsmarted by Mr. Fox, the triumvirate devise a plan to ambush him as he leaves his burrow, but they succeed only in shooting off his tail.

The farmers eat their dinner and taunt the foxes with their food.

Little does Mr. Fox know, the farmers are waiting outside his home with their guns.

A quick, funny and very enjoyable read.

The narrator tells us that it is raining where the farmers are and as far as he knows, the farmers are still waiting for the fox to leave his hole. This morning two new Roald Dahl books arrived and this one was an instant must-read. | Why does he think they might be doing something wrong by stealing all that food? The three then dig up the Foxes' burrow using spades and then excavators.

Roald Dahl at his best - an oft overlooked story (at least until the film adaptation) this is lots of fun. Here, they are nearly caught by the Beans' servant Mabel, and have an unpleasant confrontation with the cellar's resident, Rat. Fat Boggis, squat Bunce, and skinny Bean have joined forces, and they have Mr. Fox and his family surrounded. In this lesson, we will take a look at just what makes Mr. Fox so fantastic. I read all of the Roald Dahl books when I was 14-15 and this is the only one I could never find. How about his family? We must ask ourselves two questions: Why, in general, do we seem to believe that it is wrong to steal? Do you think the farmers will ever catch Mr. Fox?
