The "vistors room" (bar) was a little dark, but it was a prison, not a purpose built modern hotel. Guests have reported seeing ghosts of prisoners, white-robed monks, as well as a mysterious white mist and disembodied footsteps. We didnt get up in time for breakfast but still had to pay for it because we had booked the 'b&b' rate. The bathroom had a nice rolltop bath along with a really big shower cubicle, although the shower didn't work very well - there was only a trickle of water at best. I absolutely loved the bathtub - stayed in there for over an hour with the bubbles they give you. The room itself was quite roomy - it was three cells knocked into one room. I got a bargain out of it because I went on a Sunday night, otherwise, this would be one expensive hotel and I would not have bothered. This is an awesome hotel. This is an awesome hotel. We spent over two hours in the brasserie as the service was really slow.As other reviewers have said, we found the bed to be too hard and didn't get a great nights sleep due to being uncomfortable and there being quite a lot of noise from outside (think the windows are only single glazed) as our room overlooked some of the bars and restaurants next to the hotel, there was also some noise from a nearby alarm going off for a while. My experience was good at the hotel.
