No diners were wearing masks but the waiting staff were - I do feel for them as it is very difficult to communicate with a mask on and you do miss seeing them smile.

Can a vegan person get a good meal at this restaurant?

It was a little expensive for an everyday lunch and a set menu akin to their pre theatre one would be a fantastic addition. A side of tender stem broccoli with almonds was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Draped window blinds hark back to the original window design whilst beaten mirror textured walls and additional antiqued mirrors lend a layered touch. Had a fabulous meal. Equally excellent was a tomato gazpacho starter, with just the right acidity, served with feta cheese - not a 'real' amount, just a hint of it , so do not worry about your waistline or the salt...this is a light, Summery dish. The exquisite dining room takes its inspiration from a golden age of glamour, a time when service, attention to detail and elegance were hallmarks of a great restaurant. Would recommend the Pea risotto, as well as the Roast Sirloin!
