in … She is survived by her six children, Glen Helton and wife Sue of New Orleans, Linda Porter and husband Donald of Charlotte, Susan Bailey and husband Gary of Gaffney, S.C., Sharon Banks and husband Guy of Fayetteville, Dale Helton of Concord, and Catherine Fogleman of Charlotte, N.C.; seven grandchildren, John Branch, Nicole Bailey, Brooke Fogleman, Richard J. Helton, Michelle Morris, Russell Helton and Karynn Helton; and eight great-grandchildren. Edna loved listening to big band music, dancing and was an avid animal lover. She was known in Fayetteville as the manager of "The Bird Cage Restaurant" in the Capitol Department Store and worked at the Highland Country Club.
